Options are a less involved way of offering more than one variation of a product. If you choose to use simple options then inventory, weight and price will be used from the parent product. You can not offer price variations with an Option. Options can be displayed via radio buttons, select menu (pull down menu) or text input field. If you need to offer price variation and inventory control on product variations, use Spin Offs instead.
Option Examples:
- a t-shirt would have Size as the Title and Medium,Small,Large as the possible choices.
If you need to solicit input such as a custom message for this particular option, choosing text as the Input will require the buyer to enter the value for the option.
